Tented Rooms
Incorporating the true essence of a Trails Camp was a profound aspect we wanted to follow and our tented rooms showcase this with keeping it simple yet incredibly warm and comfortable throughout your stay.
All tents include a bed with premium bedding and an additional blanket, a torch, floor mat and table for your belongings.
Placed outside every tent is a wash basin with warm water and soap with a hand towel for each guest to utilise through out their stay.
Our position on the river bed is river facing which provides the best view to ensure you wake up with your first sight being the hippos in the river bed in front of you.
What to expect on your Trails camp:
Your journey starts at the entrance of the reserve, where you are greeted by the flowing mighty Olifants river.
Enjoy a 3 – 4 hour sunset safari along the banks of the river, discovering the wildlife, avian wonders and the breeze that blows softly across the water.
As night falls arrive at your solace in the wild where you are welcomed with a refreshing hand towel and sundowner to enjoy while taking in your surroundings and relaxing around the glowing fire.
Dinner is prepared and served by your private chef, under the stars in the vast openness of the river banks that stretch as far as the eye can see. Once dinner is complete, guests may retreat into their comfortable tent for the evening or enjoy camp fire stories and toast marshmallows into the evening.
Sunrise brings a new day and an adventure to explore the river banks by foot with our experienced and licensed trails guide. Discover the wild on a new level when walking and discovering its beauty.
After an invigorating walk in the wild, return to camp where a hearty breakfast awaits you, to be enjoyed while the hippos and elephants enjoy the river in front of your table. A front row seat to the wildest moments.
Our trails camps are exclusive use camps. When you book, the entire camp is yours for the night.
