Upon arrival in Johannesburg, whether it’s late in the evening on a direct KLM flight or in the morning, we ensure your comfort by arranging a hotel accommodation near the airport. If your flight arrives early in the day, there’s no obligation for an overnight stay, but we can certainly arrange it if you prefer to rest after the long journey.

Day 2: Journey to Hoedspruit

After enjoying breakfast or upon your early arrival at the airport, you’ll pick up your rental car and begin your journey to Hoedspruit, known as the safari capital of South Africa. As it’s a substantial drive, we recommend a stopover in the charming town of Dullstroom. Here, you can relish a delightful lunch at the renowned Harries Pancake House or one of the other inviting restaurants. Following a leisurely stroll among the Art and Craft shops to find some authentic African souvenirs, you’ll continue your drive. The remaining 2.5 hours of the journey offer increasingly scenic and verdant views. Upon reaching Hoedspruit, our host will welcome you at the estate gate and escort you to your villa for the upcoming days’ stay.

Days 2-8: Luxurious Retreat in Hoedspruit
