Upon your arrival in Johannesburg, your experience will depend on the timing of your flight:

Late Evening Arrival: If you arrive late in the evening, we’ll ensure your comfort by arranging a stay at a nearby hotel with convenient access to the airport. You can unwind and rest after your journey, knowing that a comfortable night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast await you.

Morning Arrival: If your flight arrives in the morning, you have the option to proceed with your itinerary without the need for an overnight stay. However, if you prefer to rest and recuperate after your long flight, we can arrange accommodation for you to relax and recharge before beginning your adventure.

Regardless of your arrival time, we’re here to ensure that your journey to Johannesburg begins smoothly and sets the stage for an unforgettable safari and beach vacation in South Africa and Mauritius.

Day 2: Journey to Hoedspruit

After breakfast, or upon your arrival at the airport if you had an early flight, you’ll pick up your rental car and begin your journey to Hoedspruit. The drive is quite lengthy, so we recommend a stopover in the picturesque town of Dullstroom to break up the journey.

In Dullstroom, indulge in a delicious lunch at one of the charming restaurants, such as the renowned Harries Pancakes or one of the other cozy eateries. Take a leisurely stroll through the town’s Art and Craft shops, where you can find unique African souvenirs to commemorate your trip. Afterward, continue your journey, and as you approach Hoedspruit, you’ll notice the landscape becoming increasingly beautiful and greener.

Upon arrival in Hoedspruit, settle into your lodge and prepare for an adventure-filled day ahead.

Day 3: Safari Experience

Hoedspruit, known as the safari capital of South Africa, offers incredible opportunities for wildlife encounters. Your day begins with an exciting walking safari in a private park led by an experienced ranger. Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the bush as you search for tracks and signs of wildlife. With luck, you may even come face to face with a herd of elephants, guided safely by your knowledgeable ranger.

After your exhilarating safari experience, unwind in one of Hoedspruit’s cozy restaurants, relishing in the day’s adventures.

Day 4: Continued Safari Exploration

Today, your safari adventure continues with a private game drive culminating in a sundowner in the heart of the bush. In the late afternoon, join an open safari vehicle with an experienced ranger as you set out in search of the Big Five. As part of a private game park within Kruger, your ranger has the freedom to explore off the beaten track, enhancing your chances of unforgettable wildlife sightings.

As the sun sets, enjoy a sundowner in a clearing amidst the bush, toasting to the beauty of the African wilderness. For an extra special experience, opt for a bush dinner, where you can savor a delicious three-course meal by a campfire surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild.

Day 5: Kruger National Park Exploration

As the sun rises, join your experienced ranger in a safari vehicle for an exhilarating game drive in search of the renowned Big Five—elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo, leopard, and lion. Day 6: Panorama Route to Hazyview
